Whether they gently rock or play ballads, the young fellows from Eisley always manage to create beautiful melodies and luxurious arrangements.
Incorporating bits of rock, folk and country and led by layers of haunting feminine vocal harmonies, Room Noises is rich in radio-friendly catchy anthems such as "Telescope Eyes" and "Lost at Sea".
While there is no doubt about the talents of these three girls and two guys, the songs start to sound the same after a while Eisley is located somewhere in the Sarah McLachlan band wagon, which in my eyes is both a sign of musical quality and boring listening experience.
By keeping the same stylistic and melodic direction throughout the album, they fail to create a real sense of variety, which makes Room Noises a work too perfect and beautiful for its own good.
