There is no doubt that the statement "12 leading ladies of electronica" printed on this album is without a doubt incorrect, as past the first track from Mea, this collection of songs by renowned feminine figures of the dance scene leaves the sub-genre of electronica—which somewhat goes from Prodigy's big beats to the soft sounds of Thievery Corporation—to venture into mainstream dance territories such as trance and house.

My favorite tracks here are the opener, Mea's "Red Light Go" as well as Dena Carman's "Beautiful Liar", Angelique's "I Couldn't Believe" and Eve Falcon's "Know It All"—which is reminiscent of DJ Rap—because they're the closest to my taste but more dance endeavors such as Andrea Burns' "100 Stories", DK Keri's "In My Eyes" and Colette Kelly's "Remember Me" sound good enough to be appealing, avoiding the trap of cheesy Ibiza-style sounds.

In the end, everything flows pretty smoothly despite a few changes of style, which makes this compilation a decent mix for a party or your car. By the way, the people behind this CD compiled by producer Mike Burns have included the picture of each artist to bias your objectivity and make you like the songs even more.
