Stereo Fuse All That Remains review
|
With an omni-present guitar in gentle overdrive and nervous riffs, Colin Hill delivers a series of catchy songs, lead by his rough voice somewhere between Michael Stipe (REM) & James Hetfield (Metallica). "Beautiful", "Run and Hide", "Leave me Alone" & "Hey Girl" are the most memorable tracks from this album divided in two halves rock first and then ballads. While you certainly won't be impressed by the lyrics with lines like "my car is brand new and full of gas", more problematic is that Stereo Fuse's sounds like zillions other American bands and to tell you the truth I don't hear here enough musical originality to be impressed. Still, with overall good production value, this album from Stereo Fuse should decently satisfy fans of the genre.
